Bring equipment data and commands through defined field interfaces.
Connect the plant.
Coordinate its intelligence.
Control Link develops the hardware and software layer that brings equipment, operators and energy strategies together. Start with clear control responsibilities and build the deployment around them.
Control Link Platform
A common architecture for connecting equipment, coordinating energy and supporting informed operation.
Execute local control within the equipment’s operating limits.
Align solar, batteries, generation, loads and grid interfaces.
See equipment state, alarms, trends and operating history.
Inform schedules with forecasts, historic data and compatible price feeds.
These are platform functions. Hardware, software licences, interfaces and deployment options are selected for each application.
Explore the technology architecture →Local control. Connected insight.
Separate plant operation from supervisory and cloud functions so each layer has a defined job.
Field & local equipment
Meters, PCS, BMS, PLCs and other selected devices provide measurements, status and equipment limits. Local equipment retains its own control and protection responsibilities.
Site & station control
Integrated EMS or tiered controllers coordinate local commands. HMI and station software present alarms, trends and operating modes to authorised users.
Cloud & AI
Historical analysis, forecasting and compatible market data inform schedules. Confirm offline behaviour, command approval and local limits for the selected deployment.

Independent protection and approved operating limits remain part of the plant design.
Two deployment streams.
Match the system structure to the scale and duties of the application.
Integrated site EMS
For small to medium behind-the-meter projects: controller hardware, local interface options and energy-management software in a coordinated offering. Integrated EMS specifications →
Tiered plant architecture
For larger grid-connected projects: station supervision, coordination controllers and local equipment execution. Explore the three tiers →
Engineering & AI tools
Programming assistance, repeatable configuration and test preparation support engineers. Human review and validation remain part of deployment. Software & AI capabilities →
Specify the interface. Verify the behaviour.
A protocol name alone does not establish device compatibility. For each connection, confirm the endpoint, role, profile, mapping, timing and failure behaviour.
Equipment interfaces
Record the vendor device and firmware, serial/Ethernet connection, points, units, quality flags, commands and limits.
Operational interfaces
Define which system owns dispatch and operating modes, how commands are acknowledged and what happens when data becomes stale.
Evidence to request
Ask for the selected protocol and device compatibility matrix, sample data mapping, configuration scope and an agreed demonstration or acceptance test.
DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, MQTT, SNMP and REST/API may appear in a project specification. This list is an interface-review checklist, not a statement that every Control Link product supports each protocol.
Discuss your control architecture
Bring your equipment list, operating priorities and interface requirements. We will help identify the right product configuration and the evidence to evaluate it.
